Day of Prayer

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

Many are calling for today to be a day of prayer. Perhaps, if nothing else, this election has caused people to really evaluate what they believe & support. There is a great rift in our nation. We see the words of Scripture where Christ said that believing in Him would turn brother against brother and father against son. There is no RIGHTEOUS candidate. Only Christ Himself is righteous. But, God is big enough to work through whomever is chosen to be president of the USA. We need to pray for our land, for our citizens, for our children-----those born, and those yet to be born who are alive in their mothers' wombs.

No matter what happens, God is sovereign.

And, if memory serves me correctly, Texas can always secede from the nation and be a Republic again. tee-hee!
